Branding Book LAGLCC
After receiving a request for a brand refresh from my nonprofit client, The Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Chambers of Commerce, I met with the board to discuss their concerns and preferences. Together, we identified a need for a more inclusive brand that represents all members of the LGBTQ community equally. To achieve this goal, I designed a new logo and color palette that featured a color gradient showcasing the colors of the LGBTQ+ PRIDE flags, symbolizing togetherness. The logo was inspired by classic Los Angeles iconography, as requested by the client, but reinterpreted in a modern design aesthetic that honors the city's heritage while projecting a contemporary feel.
